The North Manchester Bar Top Group April 14th 2012
This was the last Bar Top show which has been running since 1997 and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors, exhibitors, judges and helpers who have supported us over the years.
The Bronze Medal for best bloom in show was awarded to Ken Dear for ‘Lakeland Fair’ (2 W-GPP), shown below right. Ken effectively stole the show as he went on to win a rosette for Best Exhibit in Show with his six in the Championship Class,’ Dailmanach’, ‘Caribbean Snow’(2 YYW-W), ‘Altun Ha’, ‘Sheelagh Rowan’, ‘Moon Shadow’ and’ Banker’, shown below lefy. ‘Lakeland Fair’ was also awarded a rosette as Best Bloom with Pink in the Cup.
The rosette for Best Exhibit in the Miniature Classes went to Tony Bracegirdle for ‘Sundisc’.
Judge Tony James also awarded Diplomas to Andrew Clarke for ‘Miss Lizzy’ (5 Y-Y), below and Keith Capper for ‘Badbury Rings’.
