Colne Horticultural Society Annual Daffodil and Spring Flower Show has been hailed a success by Councillor Joe Cooney who presented the prizes.
Hosted by Colne Horticultural Society the traditional event took place at West Street Primary School.
Winners:- Alan Greenwood – Presidents Trophy for most points in show.
Andrew Clarke – Daffodil Medal for Best Bloom
Tom Alty – Daffodil Championship Trophy
Secretary Rosey Thompson said “We did have some lovely daffodils, in spite of the weather, that was a major achievement for the growers”.
The society is to celebrate it centenary year in 2015.
