Although the classes for other flowers gave the impression of being less well supported than in previous years, it was an excellent Daffodil Show. Alan Robinson continued his success the previous weekend at Leeds Paxton and Wrenthorpe by taking the first two places in the main collection class for six cultivars from at least three divisions; Wendy Akers was again placed third. Alan also had Best Bloom with ‘Creag Dubh’.
Morris Robinson made the long journey from the frozen north after the late cancellation of a local show. Well done Morris!
