The Northern Group arranged its third and final show of the year at Pilley. Few flowers were expected but in the end it was a reasonable show considering the season.

The Nothern Group Late show lunch

The traditional Late Show lunch was once more a great success – good food, good coversation and good company – with over twenty in attendance.
The Northern Group this year instituted a new award presented to John Freer for the valiant work that he has done on behalf of the group this year, and many years previously. In his response John expressed his thanks and said that daffodil people were among the nicest people he has known over the years, and said that he enjoyed the work – being on a committee involved commitment and that is what he had always tried to give.
