The Daffodil Society Bronze Medal for Best Bloom in show was awarded to Allen Brierley for ‘Banker’. This same bloom along with ‘White Star’, ‘Queen’s Guard’, ‘Ombersley’, ‘Lakeland Fair’ and ‘Terminator’ went on to win the Chester Championship Class.
Mike Lewis came second in the championship with ‘Strines’, ‘Wild Honey’, ‘Ombersley’, ‘Cape Cornwall’, ‘Kimmeridge’ and ‘Banker’.
Judge Keith Capper awarded a Diploma to Charlie Clarke for ‘Corbiere’ and to Mike Lewis for ‘Ombersley.
