This local horticultural society show has 23 Daffodil classes which attracted many exhibitors who staged over 200 blooms.
Tony Bracegirdle received a voucher for gaining most points in the Daffodil Classes and also won the ‘Basket of Daffodils’ class with a stunning display (see below).
The Daffodil Society Bronze medal, which was awarded for Best Exhibit of Daffodils, went to Keith Capper for 3 vases of daffodils including ‘Badgeworth’, ‘Adroit’ , and ‘Gwalia’ (2 Y-O) (see below left). Judge Tony James also awarded Keith a diploma for ‘Quoff’ (3 Y-Y), which was also Best Bloom in Show (below right).
In the Novice classes D. Holden received a diploma for his exhibit of ‘Special Envoy’.
