Northern Group AGM and Early Show at Pilley on 5th March 2016

Welcome to all Northern Group members of the Daffodil Society.

What a wet winter we have had here in the north, but exceptionally mild. Floods, and gales but we hope for better things and look forward to the daffodil season. Our first post is about the AGM on 5th March 2016, which this year is at Pilley on the east side of the Pennines, just outside Sheffield.

The day’s events are as follows:
10 am Staging of blooms, tea and coffee available
11.30 am Committee Meeting
12.30 pm Lunch
1.30 pm AGM (main item to be discussed – new venue for the RHS Late Daffodil Competition at Harlow Carr, Harrogate, staging on Friday 29 April, Show Saturday and Sunday 30 April and 1 May). Schedule available shortly.
3 pm onwards :judging and discussion of results and tea and biscuits
5.00 Meeting ends.
